Help Elsa Rebuild After Hurricane Helene

Hi, my name is Elsa. I’ve worked at Tampa General Hospital for 20 years and have called Tampa home for most of my life. For the past 20 years, my family and I have lived on Memorial Highway, and we’ve never experienced anything like this.

Hurricane Helene completely devastated our home. We lost so much—our personal belongings, appliances, and the place we’ve called home for two decades. Our cars were damaged beyond repair, making it difficult to get to work or handle day-to-day responsibilities. The storm has left us heartbroken, but we are grateful to be safe.

We are asking for any help you can provide to start rebuilding our lives. Funds will go toward basic necessities like shelter, clothing, and the first steps in rebuilding our home. Anything you can contribute, no matter how small, will mean the world to us.
