Help Uncle Vinny get back up on his feet after losing everything in the Palisades Fire
My name is Charlotte Conti and I’m starting this fundraiser for our Uncle Vinny. On January 7th, Uncle Vinny lost his home and everything he owns at 757 Via de La Paz in Pacific Palisades in the devastating Palisades fire. But this was not just his home—it was our family’s hub. The place where we gathered for every holiday, learned how to swim, celebrated births, spent every 4th of July, mourned losses, and shared life’s greatest joys. It was a home with an open-door policy, a sanctuary of love, comfort, and community.
This is the place where Uncle Vinny’s late wife was laid to rest, and where he’s been a pillar of the community since 1967. A devout Catholic, he purchased the home in 1978 and a beloved teacher and vice principal at Corpus Christi School and Parish, shaping countless young lives.
In this fire, Uncle Vinny lost not only his home but also irreplaceable memories—photos of his late wife and treasures accumulated over a lifetime. His clothing and all belongings.
Now it’s our turn to give back to someone who has given so much to all of us. Any contribution, no matter the size, will help get him back on his feet, give hope, help him start again and remind Uncle Vinny that he is not alone in this journey.
Thank you for your love and support, it means the world to all of us.
