Please Help Us Restore Asheville's Beloved Origami Ink

Donation protected
Hi, Friends. It's Jonathan & Cathie, the owners of Origami Ink at Biltmore Village in Asheville.

As you've probably heard by now our store Origami Ink has been completely destroyed by hurricane Helene. It has been devastating for us and has been emotionally hard to process or even get our minds around. The flood waters basically swirled upwards all the way to the ceiling, literally smashing everything to bits and leaving it all coated in toxic sludge.

We would be so grateful for any donation you could give towards helping us to rebuild our business.

Although, “You Don't Know What You Got 'Til It's Gone” may be the cheesiest song title ever, it is also the exact reason we are feeling so incredibly sad right now. Things come and go, but it is painfully obvious to us now that it is you we will miss the most. You have all been like a family to us. Visiting from all directions, Inky greeting you at the door. Sharing life stories, and talking about our mutual love of paper, pens and the written word. Here, with you, in this crazy magical world.

We have been so touched by everyone's kind words and comments on our Facebook page, as well as in emails. It has been the main thing that has given us hope and keeps us going. We are so grateful for all of you.
