Help Us Strengthen Our Community Together

My name is Jodie Appel, the owner of Asheville Salt Cave, and I’m reaching out TODAY on MY BIRTHDAY. While I’m safe in Florida, my heart is with our community, which has been deeply affected by Hurricane Helene. We are strong, but we need to come together now more than ever.

I’m grateful to share that all of our team members are accounted for, though many are stranded and facing significant challenges. Sadly, others in our community are not as fortunate and are in urgent need of assistance.

Many of you have expressed a desire to help, and I appreciate that immensely. I’m asking for your support through donations. All funds will go directly to our team members, who currently have no income, as well as to community members who are struggling to access essential resources.

At this moment, we do not know when we will be able to reopen. Our priority is to create spaces where we can process our experiences and heal together. We will keep you updated via our social media channels and website.

If you have a session booked, please note that we are unable to process any transactions right now due to a server issue. However, you can reach out to me via the main email , and I will respond as soon as I can. If you choose to donate your refund, rest assured it will directly support our staff, and we’ll provide you with a discount code for a future service once things settle.
