Join Us in Supporting Aunt Nita and Uncle Jim

My name is Tia Loudin. I'm setting up this GoFundMe to, hopefully, raise some funds (and a LOT of prayers) for my aunt and uncle. A way of trying to help them with medical bills and living expenses.

My Aunt Nita Bayes is one of my daddy's younger sisters. Her husband, Jim Bayes, has been fighting a health battle for many years. This battle has now gotten MUCH worse. Uncle Jim's health battle started with Crohn’s disease that he's battled for 20 years. He developed blood clots leading to emergency surgery in his left arm. He then had a double stroke to the brain, developed sepsis, and had a fall shattering his left elbow. He ended up having to have multiple major surgeries for these incidents. Uncle Jim developed complications in some bile ducts, also. He had to have 6 ERCP procedures (Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangiopancreatography) in a 6-week hospital stay. After all of that, he had to have a gallbladder removal and placement of stents. He was later diagnosed with colon cancer followed by removal of his colon and 6 months of chemo. Now, Uncle Jim has cancer in his liver, lymph nodes, diaphragm, throughout his abdomen, and bone in his left leg.

Aunt Nita and Uncle Jim saw the doctors a short time ago, and without further treatment (which Uncle Jim has expressly stated he does NOT wish to go through again) they have given him only 12 weeks left.

On top of all of this, the lease on their home is up next month (April 2025). Uncle Jim has been self-employed for quite some time and Aunt Nita has worked for him. Being that his health has been so bad for so long, it has very much limited his ability to work. Things being what they are, the future is very distressing for their family.

As a family, we are all asking for your support for our loved ones. Whether that support can be monetary or by lifting this precious couple up in prayer to our Heavenly Father, we truly appreciate whatever you may be able to do.
