Chris Combs has been a beacon of hope in our community, touching the lives of countless individuals through his selfless dedication and unwavering compassion. He is undeniably a brilliant reflection of Christ, whom he serves and trusts with all of his heart.

As a former foster dad and host family, now adoptive father to Janiel and Genesis, he has woven love and stability into the lives of many. Chris has led as the executive director of the Coalition of Care for the last 12 years, tirelessly advocating for vulnerable children and fragile families. Through this non-profit organization, he has empowered and mobilized the local church to establish ministries dedicated to supporting vulnerable children, foster families, adoptive families, and kinship families.

Chris has inspired a network of Christ-following volunteers to provide physical and emotional support for children in need of a stable home. In his spare time, Chris mentors youth and provides guidance to families opening their hearts and homes to children from challenging backgrounds and trauma.

However, amidst his incredible contributions, Chris has encountered a sudden and daunting challenge. Recently, he experienced a massive brain seizure believed to be triggered by a mass within his brain.

Already, the weight of mounting medical bills looms heavily, with costs estimated to surpass six figures. In this trying time, Chris, the very pillar of strength for so many, now needs our unwavering support to ensure he receives the care necessary for his recovery.
