Essential Supply Runs - Western Carolina Emergency Network

Donation protected
UPDATE from Western Carolina Emergency Network: Funds will be transferred directly to the WCEN NC Towne Bank account for disbursement for rescue and relief. WCEN is the intermediate beneficiary, individuals are the ultimate beneficiaries. Chris (me) has donated his time and money, as well as a host of others behind the scenes to make this Network possible. Chris is one of the original trustees for WCEN, as well as others, including two CPAs, to ensure the fiduciary responsibility of the organization is upheld. Now.... the news!

Exciting news of lives saved and items delivered! What has happened over the weekend and yesterday?
Yesterday (10/7) was another intense day. We had over 40 successful missions, delivering oxygen, much needed medications, generators and other essentials. Our teams also restocked a nursing home in need. And best of all, we saved 2 lives. Fuel/PPE disbursements:
11,535 gal of fuel
(8) 100oz 50/50
198gal Bar and Chain Oil
6 jugs of Chainsaw Oil
50 Overboots Mid Calf - Size 10-11 (commercial grade PPE)
50 Overboots Mid Calf - Size 11-13
100 Disposable Respirator, dual (commercial grade PPE)
48 Chemical Resistant Gloves Size 10 (commercial grade PPE)
48 Chemical Resistant Gloves Size 9
We had a busy weekend - a sampling of activity:
10 ATV crews delivered goods in 20 neighborhoods where there was no road access.
Supplied fuel to a stranded older couple.
Built 3 bridges, redirected 2 streams, built 3 drainage systems and helped clear a road.

We couldn't achieve these successes without YOUR help and support!

***Now networked with Western Carolina Emergency Network*** Adding delivery of oxygen tanks to hospitals, generators, and StarLink equipment. Accepting corporate donations and matching programs.

We've partnered with multiple organizations and individuals to gather supplies and drivers. We are sourcing water, fuel, tanks, & trucks to supply our drivers & teams around the region.

This will be used to keep our search/rescue and delivery trucks moving and our people moving as well.

The way that you can help is to donate directly. You can also drop off donations to me directly in Charlotte (DM/text me for address).

In addition to our Former Special Forces (airdropping supplies, have medics, clear space to people trapped, do evac, and more) we have:
  • Collection and delivery site in Charlotte with our lacrosse team of ~700 with daily runs up to Asheville.
  • Raleigh Founded to Triangle Tweener Fund, Greenplaces,
  • Operation Airdrop (airdropping supplies delivered to Concord from various supply centers to WNC)
  • Two Men and a Truck in Asheville working with partners in Charleston

and far more people than I can mention with more being added daily across NC, SC, VA, TN, KY and more.

Everything you give will save lives. Time is of the essence. We need your help! Thank you.
