Hi, my name is Sarah, and I am reaching out on behalf of my dear friend, Renee Gonzalez.

In November 2024, at just 31 years old, Renee received devastating news—she was diagnosed with Stage 4 Adenocarcinoma of unknown origin. Despite the harsh reality that this cancer will take her life, Renee is fighting with everything she has, undergoing chemotherapy and immunotherapy to spend as much time as possible with the loves of her life—her two sons, Daniel (16) and Damien (9).

Just two years ago, Renee proudly completed basic training and joined the Army National Guard, building a strong and stable future for her family. In an instant, that future was stolen from her. Now, she requires full-time care and is unable to work, leaving her family facing overwhelming financial uncertainty.

I’ve created this GoFundMe to help ease some of that burden—covering medical expenses, daily living costs, and travel expenses as her family navigates this incredibly difficult time. Most importantly, I want to ensure that when Renee is no longer here, her boys have the financial stability she worked so hard to give them.

Renee has been a light in my life, a constant source of love and support, and I know she has touched so many others as well. Now, I want to return that love and rally around her the way she has always done for others.
