Support for Steve’s Family

Small update:

An update on my brother Steve: he had surgery today. They put him on an ECMO machine which took about 4 hours. He's sedated right now. He's most likely going to be on it until he gets a transplant, which God willing is soon! They are going to start testing for the transplant now. Please, please give anything to the go fund me, anything helps at this point.

My brother Steve and his family could really use some love and support right now.

Steve's health has been rapidly declining. He’s currently admitted to the Cleveland Clinic, waiting for a lifesaving lung transplant. His condition is critical, and time is not on our side. On top of the lung issues, Steve also has major heart complications. Every day is a fight.

If you know Steve, you know he’d hate me doing this. We were raised to be self-reliant, to work hard, and never ask for handouts. But right now, he can’t work and hasn’t been able to for some time. That reality has placed a huge financial burden on his family — and anyone who knows Steve knows how much they mean to him. The stress of worrying about providing for them while fighting to stay alive is something no one should carry.

In 2014, we lost our brother Greg and our mother Sandi — just a month apart. Life hasn’t felt quite right since. I can’t bear the thought of losing Steve too, especially knowing financial worries are weighing on him while he fights for his life.

I know times are tough for everyone, but anything — truly, anything — helps. Whether it’s a donation, a kind message, or just sharing this with others, your support means the world to us.
