Join Us in Uplifting Sherrie's Family Recovery

Sherrie and her 4 children are students at Hendokickboxing & Krav Maga. The whole family trains at our studio and always volunteer especially when it deals with family events.

They were hit very hard by Tropical Storm Helene. Sherrie and her kids are farmers, and the floods and mudslides not only ruined their field, it ruined their camper that they lived in. The camper was 3/4 under water.

It's trashed.

In addition, they lost all their farm and landscaping equipment: tiller, lawn mower, blower, weed eater, tools, rolls of landscaping fabric, and the greenhouse they were getting ready to put up. Basically, everything they had built up over the last year to start their farm was washed out.

All of their clothing except for martial arts gear and some laundry they had in the car. Their spare farm car was also ruined due to the flooding. In fact, the vehicle was underwater, so there is no way to save it either.

Their children's bikes, roller skates, all their toys, art supplies, and books are gone or ruined.

Sherrie and her family relocated from another part of North Carolina to begin a new life, and it was slowly becoming promising, but this storm destroyed their lives. Please help us help them by making a tax-deductible donation of any amount.
