Join us to help Austin and Bella Trezza and their family

Every parent's worst nightmare hit the WB community in the early morning of September 21, 2024. A devastating motor vehicle accident where another vehicle reportedly failed to stop at a red light and turned countless lives upside down, with the loss of one teenager on the scene and four other teenagers fighting for their lives.

Bella Trezza picked up her brother Austin and a few friends from a party and was driving to drop them home when the car was sideswiped and thrown into a pile of destruction. After multiple surgeries, Austin is currently stable, with a long haul ahead and more surgeries and rehab on the horizon. This is all without the emotional healing that will be necessary.

Bella is on life support after suffering severe brain trauma. She has lost her spleen, a tremendous amount of blood, and has more broken bones than the doctors wanted to count. The outlook for survival for Bella is not bright, which is so devastating, especially knowing the bright ray of sunshine she is in this world.

The family needs as many prayers and prayers for miracles as we can get, so please start with those prayers and continue saying them over and over.
As you can imagine, this is an unimaginably difficult time for Jay and Kelly. In addition to the emotional toll, they are now facing an overwhelming financial burden. Between mounting medical expenses, potential long-term rehabilitation costs, and the uncertainty of what lies ahead, they need our help more than ever. With Jay and Kelly staying by their children’s bedside, their ability to work is significantly limited, adding to the financial stress they are under.

How You Can Help
We are starting this GoFundMe campaign to ease the financial strain on the Trezza family so they can focus on what truly matters: their four children (including the mental well-being of Jay and Alexa). Your donations will go directly toward the unexpected costs that will be associated with being by their side throughout their recovery and journey home.
Every contribution, no matter the size, will make a difference and will be deeply appreciated by the Trezza family. If you are unable to donate, we kindly ask that you keep the family in your thoughts and prayers. Please also share this campaign with others who may be able to help and continue to send prayers.

The Power of Community
The Trezza family has always been an active and caring part of our community. Austin is a member of the West Babylon Volunteer Fire Department since 2023 and a 2024 graduate of West Babylon High School. Bella is currently a senior at St. John the Baptist High School. In May, Bella completed a certificate in a Healthcare Internship program, aspiring to be a future nurse. Now, it’s our turn to rally around them, offering our love, support, and financial assistance as they navigate this heart-wrenching situation.
Thank you for taking the time to read their story and for any help you can provide. Together, we can make a difference and help the Trezza family along the path no one wants to walk.
With gratitude,
Friends and Family of Bella and Austin
