Join Wilma's Journey to Rebuild Home
Donation protected
On June 22, 2024, tragedy hit close to home for a few families in the White Swan community. One of these families was my grandmother, Wilma Buck, and her household, when the Slide Ranch Fire took her home.
As a new day begins, so does a new chapter for Wilma, Rueben, and Oliver.
The fire took away their home and all its contents - personal belongings, family heirlooms, pictures, everything that holds sentimental value. Although these are material items, the pain of loss is still there, because the place they called home is now just a memory.
If you have ever had the pleasure of meeting Wilma, shaking her hand, exchanging hugs, and sharing laughter, you got a taste of the strong, carefree, compassionate woman she is. She's humble, loving, and very giving, and never asks for anything in return.
So please, if you can, help them rebuild a home, a place of security and love. No donation is too small. At a time like this, anything and everything helps.
