Joining the Emergency Aid Flotilla

In Mid April the Gaza Freedom Flotilla Coalition will sail a ship carrying thousands of tons of humanitarian aid, along with passenger ships, carrying civilians from around the world—journalists, doctors, aid workers, and more—straight to Gaza.

To my amazement I've been accepted to go along on the flotilla.

I have volunteered regularly for many years in the West Bank, helping to provide international accompaniment to schoolchildren, farmers and families, and now as hunger worsens daily, especially among the most vulnerable, I am longing to do something that might help..

Normally I work as a carpenter in Madison, Wisconsin, and I know next to nothing about boats. But in this desperately sad and difficult time I am beyond heartbroken that humanitarian aid is not reaching those in such desperate need.

So I am grateful for the opportunity to go along on this boat, and I hope you will consider helping me with the cost of travel.
