Joint Enterprise movie

I am an ex Prisoner who chose the wrong path throughout my life but now I have since turned my life around & I am now a mentor & also create content which acts as a deterrent for people that are, or may be going down the same road I once did. I am in the process of making a short film to help raise awareness & educate about the law on joint enterprise. This is a 300 year old law which could mean, if you are seen as being associated with someone who commits a crime, then you could be as equally guilty as the person who commited the offence, even though you couldn’t have foresaw it was going to happen. From the years I have spent in prison, I have seen too many young adults come into the system unaware that they could be found guilty of a crime they never committed, or that the joint enterprise law existed. My plan with this film is to roll it out to schools and to the probation service. I believe the film will raise awareness & it is hoped it will reduce the number of young people from choosing a life of crime & that society will benefit from this. The script is written and my team & I have already worked very hard to shoot as many scenes as possible, but the budget has unfortunately now run out.
