Please Help Jolene Wilson Get Care She Deserves!!

Hello-

If you’re reading this, chances are that you know and maybe even love my dear wife, Jolene. Jolene has been my wife for 36 years, and has stood by my side through all of my medical trials and tribulations. She has been a daycare provider, a sitter, an extra grandmother if you will to HUNDREDS of children for the past 35years!! She is one of the kindest, gentle hearted, most sincere individual you will ever come across.

If you don’t already know, Jolene was diagnosed with Stage 4 Oral Cancer late last year (2023). Since then, she has undergone many chemo treatments, lost all of her hair, had a port as well as a feeding tube place, and most importantly to her- can no longer watch her daycare kiddos/work at all. During chemo her heart stopped beating twice, and her quality of life during treatments was very poor. The doctors advised her that unfortunately, it would be best to discontinue treatments and go on Hospice.

Jolene was released from the hospital and admitted into a local nursing home, where she stayed several weeks to try and work up the strength to go home. She returned home mid-February to spend her remainder time with our beloved Finn and myself. She currently receives home care weekly. Last week we were notified that her insurance was being revoked, due to being “over the limit”. We’re barley making ends meet as it is, and then this gets thrown on our plate. There is no way we will be able to pay for the medical treatment she needs and deserves alone.

Our souls are shaken; however, our faith is not broken. As you can understand, we don't have many answers as to why things happen the way they do. However, we are grateful for the love and generosity that has already been extended to us.
