Jolinda's Stem Cell Therapy Journey

Hello my name is Jolinda Creery and I am 45 years old. I was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis when I was 25. In the last 8 years my disease has progressed from being a healthy walking individual to being wheel chair bound. I need assistance with everyday tasks such as showering and brushing my hair which is very frustrating. I have two very active boys. Ian who is 12 and Alex who is 8. My boys have never seen me walk without the help of canes or the wheelchair. As you can imagine it can be very dificult keeping up with two young children when my body is always exhausted. I grew up in a musical family and playing piano has become my passion. I've taught piano to students of all ages for many years and even composed my own CD. However lately because of my disease my hands are stiff and arthritic. I can't play for long periods of time and I'm not able to teach anymore.
Recently I have been doing research on stem cell therapy and it looks promising. I have seen amazing testimonies of other MS survivors who, after the procedure, have gained back their mobility and independence. I hope to one day be able to walk, play piano and run with my kids again. I have been approved by a stem cell clinic called Stemgenix located in San Diego. Unfortunately the therepy is quite expensive and self funded. I have 10 weeks to raise $18,000 which includes the treatment and travel expenses.
