Jon Entsminger Memorial Fund
Donation protected
On June 7, 2019 a tragic accident unexpectedly took Jon Entsminger, loving husband and father from this life. Jon leaves behind his wife of 18 years, Carrie and their three children- Jason (18), Brandon (14) and Haylie (5).
Jason is excited to begin his college career majoring in Simulation Gaming Development. Brandon is a rising high school freshman who excels academically and hopes to follow in his big brother's footsteps and attend college some day. Haylie will be in the first grade this fall and loves animals and hopes to be a veterinarian some day.
Jon was a hard working, loving, and devoted family man. He established himself in Greensboro as a talented and sought after sous chef (he even served celebrity chef Rachel Ray!). He worked hard so that Carrie was able to stay home and provide the everyday care and needs for their children.
This unexpected loss has left the family not only devastated over the loss of their beloved husband and father, but experiencing financial hardship and uncertainty as Jon was the sole provider for his family.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Jon Entsminger Memorial Fund will ensure financial stability for Jon's family as they begin to navigate this difficult time of healing and life without him. Any amount is helpful, big or small. If you are not able to give, we would appreciate you sharing this link on your personal social media pages for others who may be able to help.
We appreciate the outpouring of love and prayers as they are not going unnoticed. They give us the strength we need during this difficult time.
