Jon Goble's Thalamic Brain Tumor battle
Donation protected

Jon is 31 year's old. He is the third child of my sister Bev Goble. The entire family has always been drawn to Jon, although he probably doesn't know this. He's one of those humble kids, I'm sure you all have one in your family's, that kid that always has a smile on his face and a little twinkle in his eyes. Jon was fortunate to find his true love in his teens; her name is Crystal. Our family knew they would marry and in 2009 they did after he completed his training as a Automobile Technician. They did as we all hope our young people will do, got jobs, bought a home in 2012 and where then blessed with two girl's. Lola who is now 5 and Isabella (known to the family as Izzy) who us 3.
All was good, like most young couples both working on building their life together and raising their kids. It was in the first week of January 2019 that Jon noticed that he had numbness on the left side of his face. Within days this numbness went to his total left side of his body. He went to see a local doctor, to find answers; hoping just to get back to work. His initial doctor visit he was told it could be Bell's Palsy. He was seen by another physician, more test where requested and a neurosurgeon was asked to be involved after viewing his MRI.
Jon continued to investigate his health issues and I wish it could have been something simple, an easy fix. Unfortunately, Jon has been told he has a brain tumor. The doctors at UCSF are unable to offer a more concrete diagnosis without a biopsy. They have labeled this a Glioma Tumor. They are willing to to a biopsy next week. Chemotherapy and radiation treatment has been offered. A NeuroBlade System has been discussed but Jon will not be a candidate for this. The hope so far is for Jon to be on a diet rich in antioxidant cancer fighting foods which will slow down the growth of the cancer cells.
Jon and the family are aware of the battle Jon is going to fight, every day that we can keep him here with us gives him one more day that he gets to be a husband to Crystal. Each day allows him to be the dad to his girl's. It allows him more time, even one more day to teach them how to tie their shoes and brush their hair, to tuck them in at night; one more kiss goodnight. It will give him time to share with them the ways of the world, a world he may not be here to protect them from. It gives him time to share all the beauty that this world also has too. It offers time to show them how much he loves them.
This unexpected diagnosis has and will continue to take a financial toll on these young people. We all know how much life costs without these unexpected life changing issues, so please donate what you can to help my family. Any amount can/will help.
I want you all to know how grateful and appreciative I am for your help. Luv,luv to you all!!!
Please remember to share
