Jon Hare and Family Fund

Jon Hare-- also known as Big Jon, son, brother, uncle, child of God! He is a 17 year old boy who loves his family, friends, baseball, hunting and most importantly God.
On September 9, Jon was doing what he loved-- hunting with his big brother. On his way home he was involved in an automobile accident and sustained a traumatic brain Injury. For the last month, he has been at Vanderbilt Medical Center getting medically stable after several surgeries. His mom, Connie has been by his side the entire time. His dad has returned to work, but is with Jon when not working all while trying to maintain a sense of normalcy at home for their daughter Katie. Jon is one tough kid and will be headed to Shephards Center in Atlanta this week for intensive therapy where no doubt he will thrive allowing for optimal healing and improvement. His parents will be taking Family Medical Leave from work to be there with Jon.
Jon has been a great teammate to the Blazers travel team, the Wildcards travel team and most recently the Cannon County High School State Tournament team. He is the kind of teammate that always made the boys and families smile. His family has always been supportive of the teams he has been a part of and now it is time for his past teammates and families to help the Hare family during this time of need. Raising these funds will help with medical bills, housing in Atlanta for the family, and any financial needs they may incur during his medical treatment. Let's rally behind David and Connie and allow them to focus on Jon over these next few months during his rehabilitation.
