Jon Liebing Celebration of Life Event Fundraiser

This page is being set up as a fundraiser to help us support the Celebration of Life for our dear friend and one of Central New York's most prolific Songwriter and Musicians, Jon Liebing. It will be an evening of music, almost completely of Jon's original compositions, performed by some of his closest contemporaries, including some who are currently performing nationally.

It is being held at one of Central New York's most majestic venues, the Stanley Theater In Utica, NY. Unfortunately, due to limited seating on the stage area the event is sold out; however, we are in the process of putting together a live stream of the event, with a quality multi-camera production. It is our hope, in addition to the streaming, to perhaps even have a video file available after the fact to preserve this beautiful event.

Future celebrations of Jon are already being discussed, foremost perhaps a duplication of this event this summer in an outside setting with room for all.

Any funds in excess of the cost of putting this event together will be donated to our local cancer society. Jon's brave battle with glioblastoma was an inspiration to us all. Many people have asked us how they might help and this page seemed to be the answer.
