Jon McIntosh's Road to Recovery

It is with broken hearts we have to write of the horrible accident that happened September 30th, 2024.

While working on a rig like he so passionately does, the unthinkable happened. The rig exploded, injuring not only Jon, but 5 outstanding men.

Jon McIntosh was rushed to the hospital by ambulance in critical condition, he sustained 2nd and 3rd degree burns to many places on his body and we have been told he will have a long road to recovery ahead.

Jon’s mom Theresa, lives in Manitoba.

Jon is being treated in Calgary. This gofundme is being made in hopes to take some of the financial stress off of Theresa and her family so that she can focus on being in Calgary with her son while they navigate the steps to Jon’s recovery.

Anyone who has had the absolute pleasure of knowing Jon, knows he is selfless, giving, caring, a soul like no other, and the most obvious comedic man there is. Everyone wants to see him get back to his bubbly self and hear more of his laughter and jokes.

Any updates will be shared by Jon’s family, when they are ready to do so. We just ask that everyone be mindful during this journey of recovery. Any donation during this time will help tremendously to take the financial burden off of Theresa so she is able to focus on Jon.
