Donation protected
Hello world my name is Jonathan Jackson aka Mr. Jackson to some. I am a freelance choreographer, professional dancer, and dance teacher. I have been teaching dance since I was 16 years old. I started dancing at the age of 14 in a public high school. It trailblazer my love for choreography that has allowed me to achieve many things at a young age.
I am currently a 4 time festival adjudicated choreographer. Festivals include: International Association of Blacks in Dance, South Chicago Dance Festival, Michigan Youth Arts Festival, and the Maggie Allesse Choreography Competition. I've been recognized as an emerging choreographer by organizations like Ballet 5:8, Renverse Ballet, and Brighton Dance Festival. My love for choreography and dance continued to grow as I took on the role of Theater and Dance Director of a HS program in Atlanta, GA.
With dedicating myself to the art of choreography and dance, I have found my self without another opportunity to challenge and grow my self as a emerging choreographer. If you can please help me get to Regional Dance America's National Choreography Intensive. I am extremely excited to be offered the opportunity to be a Project Tier Choreographer. This program cost 2,400 dollars to participate in. If you could help with any amount donation it would be so appreciated. There's no donation to small. The Festival is in June, Dayton, Ohio here we come !!!
