Jonathan Davis Funeral Arrangement Funds
Donation protected
My name is Selma Alincy and I am a close family friend of Jonathan Davis.
On September 14, 2019, my friend found her son’s lifeless body on the ground outside of her complex. This is something no parent should ever bare witness too. That day will forever remain in her memories. The senseless shooting that took place on Darcel Ave was devastating and many people got injured. Unfortunately, one died.
Jonathan, was the 2nd in his sib line. He has an older brother and 2 younger sisters. He was in the midst of completing credits to receive his Ontario Secondary School Diploma. He attended Lincoln Alexander S.S in Malton. Jonathan was a really responsible big brother. He often helped his mom with his two younger sisters. He also really enjoyed playing video games. He wasn't the type to hang out outside, as he found comfort at home playing his games. Jonathan was also very close to his father, who he often helped while learning the electrical trade. This situation is extremely unfortunate. If he didn't turn back to go into the house, all of this wouldn't have happened. Jonathan was going to his dad house but wanted to change his shoes. When he turned around to go back towards his home on the main floor of the building, shots rang out. Despite his efforts to flee the area, Jonathan was shot in his head by one of the bullets.
I know many of you have expressed the urge to assist in any way possible and your requests have not gone unheard. At this time a financial contribution would be accepted and appreciated by the family, should you choose to do to assist. No parent ever thinks that they would have to bury their child, and this is something my friend will have to do.
The family is grateful to everyone who has reached out. This GoFundMe campaign has been created to offer financial support to Jonathan’s family for his burial. Please feel free share this information with those who would like to contribute. Funeral updates will be available as they are finalized. Special thanks to those who have reached out thus far, and those who plan on sharing. Be well and stay safe.
