Jonathan Samperi’s (RIP) Family Needs Our Help!

This GoFundMe was started by myself Karina Kaminski (friend) and the Samperi Family (relatives) as a support for Lina  Liggieri (Samperi) (Jonathan Samperi’s wife) and their 4 young children to aid them financially during this heart breaking time of loss. Please help our family ❤️

Jonathan was the most loving father of 4, husband, son, brother, and friend. He needs our help during this extremely difficult time to help raise money for his family to pay home/utility bills, put food on the table, support 4 young children, pay for childcare, and help his wife Lina cover any additional medical and funeral costs now that he has succumbed to his injuries. She desperately needs our help! The money raised will be used to pay for funeral expenses, medical expenses, groceries, mortgage, car payment, utility bills, copays, childcare, and anything else Lina needs to properly take care of her children during this time. Lina Liggieri (Samperi) has authorized me to withdraw the funds on her behalf and ensure that she receives them outside of GoFundMe. 

Please help us raise money for Jonathan’s family so that they have one less thing to worry about during this heartbreaking time of loss. Any amount of donation is immensely appreciated and will all go towards necessities to support his family since he is no longer here and able to do so. He was the sole financial support for their family, so they really need our help. If you can not financially help, that is perfectly okay. Please just pray for Jonathan’s safe passage through the gates of heaven into his mother Linda’s arms and please send healing prayers for the entire Samperi family as they navigate through this. Jonathan’s Story

Jonathan Samperi had a terrible accident on July 24th, 2021. While he was working on improvements to his families home he had a terrible accident. Thankfully local emergency services responded quickly to Lina’s call. Unfortunately, the injuries he sustained were determined to be extremely life threatening and he was quickly rushed to MidHudson Regional hospital where he immediately underwent extensive emergency brain surgery in order to try and save his life. He had an extremely bad traumatic brain injury (TBI) which included bleeding within his head, severe swelling of the brain, numerous blood clots, strokes, severe concussion and extreme downward pressure from all this on his spinal cord. Thankfully there were two trauma surgeons already staffed within the hospital and they were able to fix “most” of the damages at that time but due to the level of brain swelling they were forced to induce a medical coma. He remained in that coma for just over a day and then the doctors stopped the medical coma but he never woke up. He remained in a coma state and on a ventilator in the ICU as they monitor his vitals for a week. He continued to have strokes which continued to damage his brain. We were all hoping for a miracle but unfortunately due to the extent of his injuries and poor prognosis, the family came together and ultimately decided it was time to let him go see his mother Linda in heaven this morning on August 3rd at around 11:30am. May he Rest In Peace. ❤️ His family and friends continue to pray for Jonathan’s safe passage beyond while they begin to heal from this tragedy. All our hearts are forever broken with this incredible loss.
