Jonathon Gates Long Road To Recovery

Jonathon Gates more affectionately known as Boston’s Bad Boy of Comedy and radio host, Uncle JG is in need of your support.

In November 2022 Uncle JG contracted Covid 19. Taking the necessary precautions he quarantined himself, not realizing there was a deeper issue. After a week of quarantine Jonathon was not getting better and was admitted to the E.R. It was then discovered that he was suffering from Kidney failure.

Since his diagnosis, Jonathon has begun his long road recovery. He started dialysis and because he has been bed ridden this entire time, will have to begin rehab to strengthen his leg muscles so he can walk again.

For many years, Jonathon has been a beacon of light for many displaced and distressed people. Whether a resident of Boston or afar, we have all witnessed Jonathon go above and beyond to assist those in need. He has selflessly used his platform at the radio station and any where he performed to bring attention to the needs of others.

Since being hospitalized, Jonathon has not been able to work.

Humbly we come before you and simply ask, WILL YOU HELP? Here is a man that ALWAYS helps others and now is in need of our collective support. Our goal is to raise enough money to cover his rent, household, living and miscellaneous expenses for the next 12 months, giving him an opportunity to focus on his recovery.
