Jones Family Hurricane Recovery
Donation protected
Hello all, my name is Ron Jones from Alexandria, VA. I am creating this fund on behalf of my immediate family members who still reside in my hometown of Humble, TX. On 28 August 2017 our family home of 30 years fell victim to the flood waters of Hurricane Harvey as the gates of lake Conroe dam released an uprecedented level of excess water into the San Jacinto River , leaving my father, mother and brother homeless.
To make matters worse, my ailing grandmother and aunt live on the same street and were also left homeless. My father has been working around the clock non-stop for several days for the local energy utility Centerpoint to keep the lights on for the city of Houston and surrounding service areas. I am creating this fund in hope of providing them a little relief in managing living arrangements and daily expenses for five people in the near term as they try to get their life back on track. All funds will be sent directly to my father, Ronald Jones, Sr. I appreciate your generosity and consideration. God Bless and good luck to all those affected by the hurricane.
