Jonni Jo Fenner, Brain Tumor Removal Recovery Fund
Donation protected
On the morning of December 3rd, 2020, Jonni Jo awoke deaf in her left ear. She saw a doctor in Cut Bank that day and was referred to an audiologist. The audiologist tested her hearing on December 14th and verified she was 100% deaf in her left ear. Jonni Jo was diagnosed with sudden sensorineural hearing loss (SSHL) and referred to a neurologist to complete an MRI. The MRI brought devastating news of a tumor on the right side of her brain that is in need of removal. Jonni Jo and her family are preparing for surgery that will include a 3-day hospitalization and a 3-month recovery. Funds will be used to prepare for surgery including travel and lodging, as well as preparation for the recovery period.
Jonni Jo's friends and family know her to be cheerful, funny, kind and inclusive. There are many stories to be shared of Jonni Jo helping others. I could start with when I was a little kid getting beat up at the bus stop in Havre. My big sister rushed in to save me, easily clearing the group of boys off me with her backpack. We found out later that it was show-and-tell that day. As luck would have it the letter of the day was "I" and Sissy was packing an iron in her bookbag!
If you would like to repay a favor or just pay one forward please consider donating to Jonni Jo Fenner's gofundme.
