Jons surgery & recovery fund

Hello to all that know and love our beautiful friend Jonny Croad.

Most of you would now know that yesterday 1 minute into our round 1 QAFL game Jon sustained a horrific injury when going up for the ball.

The injury was a compound fracture of both tibia-fibula and once Jon could be stabilised he was taken by ambulance to the hospital for major surgery, which was completed by a surgeon late last night.

The recovery from this surgery is expected to take many months, which will mean that Jon will be unable to work.

As a footy club, we have the top cover through our insurance but as with most insurance claims, this will take time and may cover some medical costs but will not help with the loss of income.

So for anyone that is wondering what they can do to help, I have set up this page so we as friends can take away some of the financial burden Casey and Jon will endure over the next few months.
