Jon's bike accident medical fund

Dear friends and family,
As many of you know, this has been an incredibly rough year for our cousins Jon and Julie Christensen as Julie first lost her dear brother Brad in May and then their cherished dog Rocky passed suddenly the very next week. To add fuel to the fire, on Dec 27 Jon was in an accident on his bike and has broken his collarbone and shoulder. Between the urgent care visit, the ER, having to repeat lost x-ray images, and eventually surgery to repair the break, this is putting an incredibly stressful financial burden on their family. (Update 12/28: I have just found out that their insurance desuctible is huge plus surgery expenses, so let's try to crowdsource as much of that as possible!)
Those of you who are closest to Jon and Julie know they would never dream of asking for help, so I am here to ask on their behalf. I hope we can come together to relieve some of the financial stress from these medical bills.
As you all know, Jon and Julie are two of the most gracious, caring, and giving individuals you will ever meet. They moved to Colorado nearly a year and a half ago for Jon to expand his work with Youth for Christ, a job that is founded in his passion to help young people across the country grow through faith into compassionate young adults. Not only does Julie care for their two young and adventurous daughters, Grace and Ellie, but she has personally been one of the biggest supports for me through our shared expereince of devestating grief. I hope that through our small collective efforts, we can make a big difference in giving back some of that boundless love and compassion that they share with all those whose lives they touch.
We have a large family, so a little bit from each of us can add up to a huge help for Jon and Julie as they are faced with these unexpected medical bills. Anyone who has encountered a similar situation knows how difficult the additional stress about finances is, especially when you just want to focus on and care for your family. If everyone can just forego a few lattes or a lunch out over the next few weeks, our dear cousins will be so grateful!
Let's all work together to show Jon and Julie just how much they are loved and supported <3
Thank you so much, and love to all!
