Everyone meet Run Smart One, affectionately known as Aura. He is an 8 year old Thoroughbred gelding that has changed hands many times in his hard-knocking racing career, he is finally ready to come HOME. We are The Thoroughbred Connection, INC. A 501c3 registered OTTB rescue located in Adah, PA. Aura has 100 starts and $170,215 in earnings, nearly EVERY race he ran was a claiming race. He has fused ankles and a sore knee, so we would like to get him ASAP! We have a shipper set up but due to an emergency intake of 2 others who were on their way to slaughter a few weeks ago we are having trouble coming up with the funds for shipping.  Aura deserves his hard won retirement and we would love to give it to him! We have been waiting and watching him for months, waiting for him to be done racing. Please help us bring this beautiful warhorse HOME at last.
