Jordan and Lacey Galbraith Fire Recovery

My name is Andrew Summers and I have been blessed to be friends with Jordan and Lacey for 15 years.

Many of you have also been blessed to know Jordan and Lacey Galbraith over the years. They have both dedicated themselves to serving God and serving others their whole lives.

On Tuesday, January 7th a fire started in Pacific Palisades just up the hill from the Church/School where both Jordan and Lacey work. Jordan and Lacey helped evacuate the kids, walking them a mile to the nearest fire station where parents picked them up. The remaining kids who weren't picked up were walked 3 miles down PCH to safety.

Jordan and Lacey left their cars at church to lead the kids (Lacey is 5 months pregnant) down the road to safety. They weren't able to get back into their neighborhood, so a friend got the dog and their passports.

Pictures from this morning show the church sanctuary burning, and this afternoon (Wednesday, 1/8) they were able to sneak into their neighborhood and confirm that their house has burned completely to the ground. They have literally nothing but the clothes on their backs.

News was reporting that due to the 80mph winds the fire was moving at a terrifying speed of 5 football fields a minute. Many homes in the area have been dropped from insurance in recent years due to fire danger. Because of the fire risk, Jordan and Lacey were not able to get renters insurance, so they have lost everything.

Thank you for helping support this amazing ministry couple. They have lost their home, all of their possessions, and probably their places of work. All funds raised will go directly to them to help them get back on their feet.
