Support the Acord family in this tragic time!

Hi everyone, my name is Abigail and I’m creating this fundraiser for my sister Jordan Acord, and my three nephews Kade, Liam, and Knox who are in desperate need of help and support. In 2022, Jordan, her husband Ryan Acord, and their three children moved across the country from Northwest Arkansas to Grants Pass Oregon, to start their new adventure. In less than a years time of moving they fell in love with the state and spent most of their time outdoors exploring. This wonderful adventure came to a tragic ending on April 22nd, 2023. On Saturday, April 22nd, Ryan, Jordan, and their 3 children along with one of their son’s friends drove from Grants Pass to the coast near Brookings to go on a hike. The hike was supposed to be at Secret Beach near Brookings, however, the trail was not marked clearly, and they ended up on the wrong trail, which was Thunder Cove. The trail was easy enough up until approaching the waterfall where the trail became treacherous. At this point, it was too late and tragedy unfolded before their eyes. Ryan lost his life doing what he loved most, he didn't die for nothing, he risked his life to save a child who is now stable and is going to survive. Ryan was a courageous, brave, brilliant, adventurous husband and dad, he will be missed dearly. His passing has left Jordan and her sons deeply saddened and forever changed by this tragedy. She not only lost her husband but her best friend and their boys not only lost their daddy but their rock and provider. I am asking for love and support for Jordan and her babies while she juggles funeral expenses as well as moving expenses. She will also be out of a job while restarting from the life they once knew. She and Ryan moved to Oregon alone and all of their family and loved ones live in northwest Arkansas, so anything you can donate is highly appreciated. Please share and God bless!
