Jordan Elizondo's Medical Costs & Living Expenses
Donation protected
Jordan Elizondo is my spouse of seven years, and father to our beautiful 8 month old baby girl, Ember. While visiting family in Ohio, Jordan was involved in a tragic target shooting accident with a large caliber rifle. The gunshot went through his arm and into his abdomen. Due to the quick actions of his brother in law, father, and family, his life was saved before he even made it to a hospital. Jordan was then life flighted to Grant Medical Center where he stayed in the ICU and TICU for two weeks. He has already undergone 5 surgeries while in the hospital, and has many more to go in order to reconstruct his arm. Due to the severe damage and loss of function to his arm and hand, Jordan is not able to perform many self-care duties and will not be able to return to work as an Electrician. Returning to work in general to provide for our family will not happen for quite some time.
Words cannot begin to convey how grateful I am that I still have my partner and best friend to raise our daughter with. Our little family is able to stay with family members in Ohio, until we can return to our home in Colorado. We are hoping that with the kindness and grace of our family, friends, and community, that we can lessen the impact of this already stressful time.
