Help Jordan Beat Cancer for the Second Time
Donation protected
For those of you that know Jordan, know what an amazing, strong young woman she is and what a roller coaster she’s been on as far as her health over the past 6 to 7 years. An injury to her common bile duct during a routine surgery in August of 2017 that led to 8 additional surgeries over that next year to repair the damage. Then in October of 2018, at the age of 27, she was diagnosed with an aggressive form of breast cancer and underwent 6 months of chemotherapy, 30 radiation treatments, a lumpectomy, a total hysterectomy and a year of immunotherapy infusions. Jordan was declared cancer free in May of 2019.
Unfortunately, about three weeks ago at only 32 years old, after experiencing some shortness of breath, Jordan was admitted to the hospital and diagnosed with stage 4 metastatic breast cancer in her chest. She spent two weeks in the hospital and underwent 2 procedures to drain over 3 liters of fluid from her chest and surgery to have her left lung reinflated and attached back to her chest wall. Jordan still has a few preliminary tests to do but is tentatively scheduled to start chemotherapy on May 15th.
Right now, more than anything, she needs her mom, Kelly, by her side to help her get through all of this. Kelly’s PTO (paid time off) is running out. Anything you can contribute would allow Kelly more time to be with Jordan through her upcoming treatments and appointments, as well as alleviating stress from bills for both of them through this upcoming battle. Can you join us and help Jordan beat cancer again? If you are unable to donate, please consider sharing Jordan’s story. Thank you in advance for any help you can provide!
