Miss Black America is quickly approaching and I can't compete without your help!
In order to continue my initiative of mental health on a local and national level, I have chosen to compete in the Miss Black America pageant. This organization is giving me the opportunity to expand my current outreach efforts through Women with Voices a 501 C3 organization based in the greater New York City where I serve as a founding board member and facilitate the implementation of outreach programming.
If I win Miss Black America it would enable me to continue my community service efforts as a celebrity ambassador for mental health awareness and further promote women's empowerment through Women with Voices.
The Miss Black America Pageant was created to combat the negative portrayal of black women in the media, as Miss Black America I would be able to represent women of color in a positive light in media and entertainment.
Although the journey to the pageant is priceless there are some fees that accumulate to prepare. A donation of any amount will help and I greatly appreciate your contribution and support!
