We share this story as Kim’s family and friends helping her and her kids pick up the pieces after the very unexpected, sudden, and tragic death of her husband, Jordan Johansen. Jordan Frank Johansen, 52, passed away far too soon on May 16, 2022, in the loving arms of his wife Kim and his beloved children Sarah, Summer & Jackson while on vacation in Maui celebrating Kim’s 50th birthday. It was a much needed trip for all and he was so looking forward to it.
He brought joyful energy to his work and made every person who sat in his chair feel like they were the only person that mattered in that moment — because to him, they were. He was an astute listener who would openly share his hard-won wisdom, but only when solicited. He believed in people, generously sharing his decades of knowledge and skill with others. He was kind and generous. He always stood up for himself and the people he cared about and never backed down from a fight in his life.
Jordan devoted his life to his family, of whom he was fiercely protective and loyal. He could not have been a more proud father with his daughter Sarah following in his footsteps, Summer and her passion to always fight for what she believes in, and the beautiful young women they have become. Jackson has become the man that Jordan always dreamed he would be with incredible values and expectations that Jordan held him to himself. He cultivated their inner strengths, nurtured their emotional intelligence, and taught them so many things in his time. He loved, encouraged, taught, and protected his family.
He lives forever in the hearts of his loved ones and the countless people whose lives he transformed through the gift of his presence. We are grateful for the chance to have known and been loved by Jordan Johansen. He is survived by his devoted wife Kim and their children Sarah, Summer & Jackson. Jordan also leaves behind his beloved mother Lisa, and his brothers Tom and Brett and their families.
We hope you will help Kim and her children cover their upcoming expenses from this tragedy, so they can focus on the healing they need. Please help us relieve the burden and make it easier for her and her kids to navigate this terrible time.
