Jordan "TEAD" Vaughn Retrospective
Donation protected
We'd like to celebrate the life and career of Jordan Matthew Vaughn, aka "Tead" with a retrospective publication on his life and artistic efforts.
Anyone who's had the pleasure of knowing him understands the genuine good nature of his being. He's always been such a positive and supportive friend, we feel it's only necessary to tribute him with such a passionate energy.
We're seeking photos and stories of his times with family and friends to be compiled into a hardcopy book. A book full of vibrant photos that will commemorate his 20+ year career of hard work and dedication he so passionately dedicated himself to.
All proceeds raised will go directly to production and distribution of the work. All proceeds beyond production will go directly to support his Mother Jennifer Vaughn to help with any unexpected expenses that would have arisen during the unexpected tragedy of his passing.
The projected timeline is to consist of 90 days of submissions, layout and preproduction. We will then print at the scale of the demand.
Page Layout of publication to be by Henry Cunningham, a production designer currently residing in New York City.
All content entries to be compiled by Danny Babcock of Higher Level Art of Cincinnati, OH.
We'd like to offer a copy of the book to any contribution of $30+.
*Also with early support we'll offer a shirt printed at no cost by Identity Customs in Louisville, KY.
Some nuance on this project:
I am the writer of this page, Danny Babcock, Owner of Higher Level Art LLC. Based in Cincinnati, OH. My company has specialized in Murals, Signs, and Commercial Art installations for nearly 10 years. I have been friends with Jordan for approx. 15 years and was familiar with his work prior to our meeting. As well we have done work together in a professional capacity, as recently as last summer for a U.S. Bank campaign launch in Cincinnati. The way we're approaching funding is to budget, up to, $30 per unit to accommodate projected production estimates, to include domestic shipping. All funds will be appropriated to the project to accommodate the demand. If/when we exceed the goal amount we will recieve a better unit cost from vendors as well as the ability to add content if necessary. Any overages after production costs are finalized will be accessible to Jennifer and/or Jessica Vaughn, directly through the "GoFundMe transfer to beneficiary" interface to be used as the family wishes.
* If photos are of high resolution, or the files are too large to email, create a Dropbox link or similar that we can download those images from.
**Please send content entries to:
[email redacted]
I suggest "Tead" or "Jordan" in the subject line for filtering.
