Jordin VanWyk & Family
Donation protected
On the morning of September 25, the unthinkable happened when Jordin VanWyk was severely burned in an explosion that occurred within their family's hog barn. Jordin's father, Jerry reacted quickly and drove Jordin to the emergency room at Methodist. Jordin was then life flighted to Iowa City where it was determined 42% of his body had been burned. While the next few days will be crucial to Jordin's overall recovery, he will be spending at least 7 weeks at the University of Iowa Hospital.
Jordin, his wife, Kari and their two daughters, Hadley (7) and Kinsley (4) have a very long road ahead of them. This accident not only impacts Jordin physically but will greatly impact their livelihood as Jordin is the primary financial supporter of their family. Donations will be used for out-of-pocket medical expenses in addition to travel expenses as his family travels back and forth from Monroe to Iowa City.
If able, we ask that you donate and pray for healing, patience, and strength for Jordin and his family.
