Jordyn & Haidyn Spring

Hello, I am starting this fundraiser for my friend and her family. This is their story:

Jordyn and Haidyn were born to Claire and Chandler Spring prematurely at 35 weeks due to Jordyn having sFGR (selective fetal growth restriction). They were born at 4lb 3oz and 5lb 4oz, and immediately were taken to the NICU and placed on feeding tubes, oxygen and IV lines.

Jordyn had to fight an aggressive case of klebsiella bacterial infection in her eye at only 4 days old. This is a rare gram-negative infection that fights against helpful antibiotics. She had to get a spinal tap, picc line and another IV placed in her head to fight it.

During our time at St Anthony’s in Crown Point, the girls were having constant bradycardia episodes. They were both placed on high flow oxygen and caffeine to combat the episodes. Haidyn was first to make it home after 42 days in the hospital.

After 65 days in Crown Point, Jordyn was recently transferred to Lurie’s Children Hospital in Chicago. We are currently staying at the hospital in Chicago waiting for answers on her condition.

This family has had to walk through a lot of unknown and waiting. We would appreciate any donation and prayers for them during this time. Thank you!
