Jordyn is a Survivor

Jordyn Leigh Brewer - 23 years old,  daughter, sister, friend, granddaughter, niece - so very loved. Everythng going her way. She has been so happy, with a good man in her life,

On May 15th, this beautiful young woman was returning home with her man and his 3 year old son. It was dark, no street lights. A truck was approaching them, and suddenly a car pulled out to pass, heading straight for them.

They had no where to go.  Brakes slammed on, swerving her car and the truck hit the passenger side, crushing Jordyn and trapping her in the car.  The driver, her love, escapd with minor injuries, and his son, while terrified, had little to no injuries (Praise God)

They fought to cut Jordyn out of the car. She was rushed to a trauma center, where they saved her life; however she is still in critical condition!

She has some serious internal injuries - lacerated liver and kidney, fractured pelvis, lumbar....but worse, this vibrant, sassy young woman is currently in a coma. Her brain is functioning, but the damage is unknown. She is in a medical coma for a few more days, as they keep her core tempurature down to aide in her healing. 

Her parents have not left her side. They are shooed out of the hospital for short spurts of times so they can go home for an hour,. They are fearful to leave her for long.  

But God is so good, and Jordyn is a fighter!
This is my great-niece. Please pray for her, and give a few dollars if you are able. But also, please post notes of encouragement and prayers, as her mom reads them all to her daily. She lives, because of your prayers, and her fierce desire to live! 

Why we need help:
Jordyn will need intensive therapy when she wakes up, and as she heals. We still don't know how much, but even with just the pelvic fractures, she'll need therapy to walk again. Brain damage is still unknown.
Her parents need to be able to spend as much time as possible with her, and they have put everything they have into supporting her recovery. Her brother has placed a job transfer on hold to stay by her side.  Money isn't everything, and insurance helps, but gas and food and bills for the family; copayments as she begins the long process of getting her life back - these have cost.  (and the amount? It's just a number. $5 will buy a meal, $10 a little gas. Every amount is helpful!)

For transparencys sake, Jordyn's mom, Heidi Brewer, is the beneficiary of these funds in Jordyn's name.

We, her friends and family, are here for the long haul. Every dollar you donate will go to keep her family with her, and to help finance her recovery. 

Because, through prayer, thanksgivng, and Jordyn's indomintable spirit, she is healing, and will be healed! YOU and your prayers and love will help!
