Jorge Cordova's Medical Expenses

On Friday, 7/29/2022, Jorge Cordova, a highly respected community mentor and tennis coach, was working in his office at Belmont Country Club when he suffered a stroke. He was taken by ambulance to the Inova Loudoun ER and then medevaced to Inova Fairfax Hospital. There he was admitted to the ICU for 3 nights before doctors felt he was stable enough to move to a regular room. At this time, he is still in the hospital and no discharge date has been given. His prognosis for recovery is good, however next steps will include a lot of hard work and physical therapy. Jorge’s medical situation will directly affect his ability to meet his financial obligations.

Jorge has been a part of the Belmont community for over 17 years, and a part of the Northern Virginia tennis community for over 44 years. Many have come to appreciate his earnest and good natured personality. His care for his students is evident to all who have taken lessons from him or watched him teach their loved ones. He's always out there, even on his days “off.” There's nowhere else he'd rather be. He embraces being a member and leader in the tennis community.

Now is the time to come together to love and support our dear friend and coach, Jorge. All donations will be given directly to Jorge to help with medical bills, procedures, and treatments. We are overwhelmed by all the phone messages, cards, flowers, prayers, support and love for Jorge. He is dearly touched by your care and concern.
