May of 2018 my dad, Jorge Gomez, was diagnosed with Pancreatic Cancer. He fought very hard and for a while he was beating his disease, unfortunately in January 2019 his cancer had become more aggresive and began to spread and his health started to decline. On the night of February 18 he was taken to the hospital where we were informed that he had suffered a mild heart attack and that his disease was no longer treatable, our only option was to keep him as comfortable as possible.
With him, as a family, we decided that the best thing was for him to be at home, so on Thursday February 21 my dad came home on hospice care.

On Monday February 25 my dad passed away surrounded by family.

My dad was the strongest, most caring, and loving man i have ever known and although our hearts are completely broken we take some comfort in knowing that he is in a better place no longer suffering or in pain. He was loved by so many, and will be so incredibly missed by his family and friends.

We decided to create a GoFund Me page to hopefully help ease some of the financial stress that comes with funeral arrangements. As a family we appreciate any donations that can help us. Even if you are not able to donate, we ask if you could please keep our family in your prayers, that we may find the strength to get through this very difficult time in our lives.
