Jorgen Odden medical bills and family expenses

Please consider helping Jorgen and his beautiful, young family out. I’ve worked with Jorgen for 8 years and he is the hardest worker and is always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone.

Jorgen and his wife Megan have 3 children, Tyler - 20, Kenzie - 14 and Jaxon - 8. They find it difficult to ask for help, but many friends and family have been asking what they can do, so they decided it’s time to do this fundraiser.

From Megan, Jorgen’s wife:

In September of 2021, Jorgen was diagnosed with stage 3 Esophageal Cancer. He went through 6 weeks of chemo and radiation at Mayo followed by an Esophagectomy in January, which is a surgery where they removed most of his esophagus. He had one clear scan in March and then in August of 2022, they found the cancer came back in his liver, bile duct and all over his abdomen. The only option now was to do chemo to prolong life. The chemo was very hard on him, and after each treatment, he ended up in the hospital and lost at least 10 lbs. each time.

In December, the decision was made to stop chemo and go on hospice care after scans showed the tumors were not shrinking. My hope is to alleviate some of the financial stress with Jorgen being out of work since September and upcoming medical bills.
