Jorgies Recovery

On August 30, 2021 my nephews were involved in a terrible car accident. While coming to almost a complete stop, a truck hit them from behind going 60-65 mph without attempting to stop. Thank God my 8 year old and 1 year old nephews were discharged the same night. Unfortunately, my 4 year old nephew Jorgie was knocked out on impact and went into a coma and was air lifted to Valley Children's.

 

Everyday Jorgie was slowly progressing, but two weeks after the accident - it was discovered that he had a brain aneurysm. He was transferred to UCSF in order to get surgery and receive more extensive care. He is currently getting fluid/blood drained from his brain. He is awake, but not alert and does not respond to commands yet. I will update this post as he goes through his healing journey.

 

I wanted to start this go fund me for my sister and her little family. They are living a parent's absolute nightmare. This is to help them with gas, food, transportation, bills etc. while Jorgie is in the hospital and going through his recovery. The last thing they need to be worried about during this traumatic time is finances. Please if you can help, we greatly appreciate it. Any bit helps. If you can't, all we can ask for is constant prayers that our Jorgie gets to come home soon.
