Jorvik Warriors fundraiser! Raising money to get our beloved Glen Gardens refurbished!
All 3 teams and everyone associated with the club will get together have a laugh and fundraise for Glen Gardens and the club! This refurbishment will be a great asset not only for the club, but the community who use Glen’s all year for all ages.
The three peaks are Whernside, Ingleborough and Pen-y-Ghent. It takes around 10 hours and will be a huge challenge for all involved.
We plan to use the funds to undertake the following:
- Repaint the court with new regulation lines in Jorvik Warriors colours.
- Re-level the hoops so they’re straight and 10ft.
- Install new regulation backboards that aren’t cracked.
- New chain nets that are long lasting and don’t fray like the current nylon nets.
- Installation of new park benches and a family area next to the court.
