Jose Castillo Funeral and More

On the night of August 1, 2020 our dear Jose Castillo was rushed to the hospital. He was unresponsive after his brothers, nephews & first responders tried to revive him. Unfortunately, Jose passed away that night at the young age of 42. 

We are raising money to help pay for funeral arrangements and medical bills. 

Many of you know that this past May Jose was in the hospital for a blood clot in his lung that was almost fatal. He recovered for the time being and was able to come home. Due to some error, on the government's part, Jose was not able to get medical insurance and not able to get the proper treatment & meds he needed. He was in the midst of trying to fix this error so he could get insurance to cover his hospitalization from May when he passed, which of course will not have added bills from this trip to the ER too. 

Jose was a passionate musician, caring son, pain in the ass brother, and loving uncle. He lived at home with his younger brother helping take care of their older autistic brother and elderly mother, who are now facing the burden of planning a funeral and finding him a final rest place.
