Jose Diaz Fund

Hi everyone, my name is Seth Mayfield. I am setting out to raise money for Jose Diaz and his family as they've fallen on unfortunate times. Jose was recently diagnosed with a cancerous stomach tumor. He had surgery on Tuesday, Sept 6th and will now begin chemotherapy treatments. Although Jose has excellent health benefits due to his employment at THF, anyone who has been close to someone with cancer knows the deductables and other day-to-day expenses associated with a cancer battle can mount up quickly. I'm setting up this fund to help assist Jose and his family and alleviate as much of the burden as possible.

Jose has been working at the Texas Housing Foundation for 27 years. As the son of the CEO of this company and as a former employee at THF, I have had the pleasure of knowing Jose as since I was a boy and then also later as a co-worker. I can tell you right now that you would be hard-pressed to find a more genuine, friendly, and selfless human being than Jose. Jose is a father, grandfather, and overall good guy. Let's shower this man with the love he deserves!
