Limon Family
We are still in disbelief of the incident that occurred on June 29,2021 and what Jose Limon endured. The physical harm in addition to the psychological trauma everyone is experiencing should never have happened.
During the incident Jose had an outpatient procedure called Catheter ablation. This was to correct a condition called Afib. Jose’s procedure was to take approximately two hours, but this was not the case. The surgeon working on Jose accidentally punctured his heart during the procedure, causing him to bleed out and go into cardiac arrest. This resulted in emergency open heart surgery. Jose spent several days fighting for his life and fortunately survived. Unfortunately, as a result of damage sustained during this horrific incident this may cause lifelong disability.
In turn, we suspect home modifications and transportation needs to increase accessibility and quality of life. We remain hopeful for a miraculous recovery but have to prepare for what’s to come.
Anyone who knows Jose, knows him as a strong, hard –working and good-hearted soul. He is always willing to help family. Jose is a loving husband to Maria and a father of five children. We are hoping with extensive therapy, hard work and prayers he will see a successful recovery.
This is such a huge blow to our entire family but to no one more than his wife, Maria and his five children. During Jose’s time of recovery so much more will be on Maria’s shoulders financially, physically and emotionally. We created this GoFundMe page because we want to support Jose’s family from all angles. Many have reached out asking how they can help which is why we are setting up this page for donations.
