Jose - Neighborhood Ice Cream Man

Most of us in the Tustin community know ‘Jose the Ice Cream Man’. He visits our cul-de-sac every Friday afternoon. He has become a friend and someone we have counted on to make our Friday nights special.

Our kids adore him and come running when they hear the sound of the music coming from his speaker.

Jose showed up tonight right on time, however, he wasn’t driving; his sister was.                              

We asked what was going on, and he was trying his best to act normal, but we later discovered that he had a heart attack last Saturday.

He came tonight because he knew we would call and ask where he was.

He told us he came because he knew our kids counted on him. He has become a part of our family as I’m sure to many of yours as well. He is a wonderful man and needs our support.

He will no doubtedly have some medical expenses that he will need help in paying and additional expenses are sure to follow.

We are calling on all residents of Central Orange County to please help support Jose!

Whatever we raise will go directly to his care and recovery.
