On Tuesday, September 7, 2021 the Ocampo family lost it's patriarch, Jose Ocampo Sr. Jose was a loving husband, father, grandfather & friend. He dedicated his life to working hard & providing for his family. During the weekends & anytime he wasn't working, he would spend his time with his grandkids. He was always there when he was needed & went above & beyond to help others. He was a man of God & was respected & loved by his church & community.
On the morning of September 7, 2021 Jose woke up, got dressed & kissed his wife not knowing it would be the last time. Later that day, Jose was struck by a drunk driver & was killed on impact. The driver fled the scene & was later found & arrested. We hope this crime does not go unpunished & that justice is served.
He leaves behind his wife (Lucia), 2 sons (Jose Jr. & Ricardo), & 3 grandchildren. Mears Group has put this fundraiser together to help support his family through this difficult time. His entire family, as well as Mears Group, appreciates any and all donations made on his behalf during such an unexpected & difficult time.
